Follow a patent, a company, a case, a judge or a law firm. When a decision that matches is added, you get an email. Alert emails go out once a day, at 09:00.
Search across courts
One search box for patent numbers, case numbers, companies, law firms and judges. Each result opens a record with the court, the date, the parties and the patent.
MCP for AI tools
Connect Claude, Cursor or another MCP client and ask in plain language. Without a key it is free and limited: 30 calls an hour, 5 results a call, no counsel. A Pro or Team key gives full results.
RSS feed
The latest 25 decisions as a standard RSS feed. Paste it into a feed reader, Outlook, or a Slack or Teams channel.
Record pages for every decision
Every decision has a record page showing what we hold: court, date, parties, patent, and the judge and counsel where recorded. Signed-in users also get a link to the court's PDF where the court publishes one, so you can check us against the original.
What the data really contains
Every record is stored as structured fields. We do not invent values: fields the court left out or we could not read are left empty rather than guessed.

Recorded on some decisions only. Where a court does not name them, or we could not read them, the field is left empty.

Questions people ask
Does it cover every European patent court?+
No. Coverage is partial. We hold UPC decisions, EPO Boards of Appeal decisions and decisions from select national courts (UK High Court, German Federal Patent Court & BGH, France Paris Judicial Court, Dutch District Courts, and Swiss Federal Patent Court). The coverage table shows each source and how many decisions we hold from it.
How fresh is the data?+
UPC decisions are captured from the UPC website on most working days using a browser extension, because the UPC publishes no data feed or API. The EPO and most national courts are checked daily. A decision can appear here a day or more after the court publishes it.
Are judges and counsel always shown on a record?+
No. Judges and counsel are recorded on some decisions only, depending on what the court published and what our parser could read. Where they are missing, we leave the field empty rather than guessing.
When do alert emails arrive?+
Alert emails go out once a day, at 09:00 UTC, covering decisions loaded since the previous email. The Monday briefing is sent weekly at 08:00 UTC.
What can I do on the Free plan?+
Receive the free weekly Monday briefing, use the public RSS feed, search across covered courts, follow one case docket by email, and use the free MCP endpoint for AI tools (30 calls per hour, 5 results per call, no counsel).
What do Pro and Team add?+
Pro (€300/month plus VAT, one person) adds alerts on everything you follow (patents, competitor companies, cases, judges, and law firms), the litigation dashboard, and an MCP key with full results including counsel. Team (€800/month plus VAT, up to five people) adds REST API keys (v1) and direct support from the founder.
Can I connect Claude Desktop or Cursor for free?+
Yes. Point your MCP client to https://www.upcintel.com/api/mcp. Without an API key, you can make up to 30 free natural-language queries an hour. To unlock counsel details and higher volume, enter a Pro or Team API key from your dashboard.
